The apartment had a dining area, but with a soundproofing so good that I could barely hear my own chewing. Grote Markt was a whopping 1.4 km away, giving me plenty of exercise opportunities.
Who needs instructions or clear stairs anyway? It's more fun to stumble in the dark and figure things out on my own!

The apartment is well equipped with modern amenities like a state-of-the-art cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, Smart TV, and a coffee maker. The bed is extremely comfortable. There is a supermarket and other shops nearby, and a pizza restaurant owned by the same couple who own the apartment, serving amazing take-out pizzas. Several eateries are within walking distance/bus ride. The apartment is also close to Noord Station, making it convenient for travel to the main station or the coast. The hosts, Douw and Anouk, are pleasant and helpful.
